Hong Kong stocks yesterday rose past 23,000 points before closing just shy of the psychologically important mark, as investment banks remained bullish on China's tech sector.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index once rose to 23,141 points before closing 360 points or 1.59 percent higher at 22,976 points.
Turnover on the main board was HK$338.6 billion.
